Act One Has Moved to a New Location in Chatham-Kent

Act One is moving into a new chapter. After many years of helping dancers, families, studios, schools, theatre performers, and local artists, Greg Bondy is retiring and Act One is changing hands.

Act One will continue as a local dance shoe and dancewear resource for Chatham-Kent, with a focus on personal fitting help, practical guidance, and the same hands-on care customers have appreciated over the years.

We are grateful for the knowledge, care, and trust Greg has built with customers over the years. His work has helped many dancers and performers find the shoes and supplies they needed for class, recital, competition, rehearsal, and the stage.

Act One is now owned and operated by Greg Simpson and Brianna Cernanec.

Greg and Brianna are committed to carrying Act One forward as a helpful, local, community-focused dancewear and dance shoe store. The goal is to keep personal fitting, practical service, and real support at the centre of the business.

Will Act One serve dancers from all studios?

Yes. Act One is here for dancers, families, studios, schools, theatre groups, and performers across Chatham-Kent and surrounding communities. We will do our best to respect each studio, class, school, or production requirement.

Can Act One help with character shoes for musicals?
